A delegation of African legislators has successfully completed a high-level policy study tour in the United Arab Emirates, organized by Iconium Consulting Agency (ICA).

The week-long programme included institutional visits to the UAE’s Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, Smart Dubai, and the Federal National Council. Legislators explored global best practices in digital governance, fiscal oversight, and legislative transparency.

“This tour has been an eye-opener. We have seen how technology and effective legislation can improve citizen trust and accountability,” said Hon. Josephine Kalu, a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives.

The programme emphasized practical learning, cultural exchange, and dialogue with counterparts in the UAE, enabling African lawmakers to adapt insights to their national contexts.

ICA continues to expand its international programme portfolio, connecting African leaders with global centres of excellence.
