Iconium Consulting Agency (ICA) has formalized a strategic partnership with the University of Pretoria to collaborate on research that drives governance reform across Africa.

The partnership will focus on co-developing evidence-based studies, policy briefs, and advisory reports that inform institutional strengthening, service delivery improvement, and accountability frameworks.

“Collaborating with academic institutions like the University of Pretoria ensures that our policy work is grounded in rigorous research and local realities,” said Ms. Ngozi Ibekwe, Head of Research at ICA.

The collaboration includes joint publications, academic exchanges, and the development of governance knowledge hubs. The first joint project will focus on assessing the impact of digital tools on public sector performance in Southern Africa.

This partnership is part of ICA’s broader mission to create a knowledge-driven public sector that is innovative, data-informed, and citizen-focused.
